I was born in Alkmaar in 1964 as the third child of a family with four children. My spiritual interest was born early in life but not before I was 25 it became an indissoluble part of my life. After a short but intense career in the fashion world and a severely broken heart that acted as a 'wake-up call', I found my way to my inner world and I started to explore that environment.

Since I had always been a highly sensitive child and had never been able to express my real emotions in a healthy way, all the hurt and anger of ages was still hidden in my ailing body. I was left with untold complaints and fears and hardly able to function normally in life. I was depressive and withdrawn, although I played a different role for the outside world. My heart was deeply touched by the love of my spiritual teacher whom I met in 1991 in India and that changed my life and lifestyle forever.

However, the depression didn't leave me until I was ready to clear out the blocks that covered my joy in life. THE JOURNEY was the answer to my prayer to Grace, to be able to really say 'YES' to life in all its aspects. My fears and depressions disappeared like snow before the sun and today you can hear me call a heartfelt 'YES' to whatever Grace wants to send on my path, even if it hurts. Life has become more and more exiting for I've got my enthusiasm back! My heart's desire is, to be there for others, to help them to open up for their full potential and to live their lives 'as they've always dreamt it could be.'
